I've got one!

3 posts in one day - never heard of before.  I've had a great weekend with lots of crafting.  Hubby cooked a lovely roast dinner with a bit of guidance and I've had flowers and cash from the boys.

I made this card a little while ago for a friend's 60th birthday.  He's a keen fisherman so I thought it apt.  The image is Penny Black (just love these stamps) which I stamped onto water colour card and coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens.  Background papers from stash and a fish charm to finish the card.

I'd like to enter this card into this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge 'This, that and the other!

Take care, Linda

Brown and Blue - Die-Ing For A Challenge

Hi Everyone.  After a dull start the sun has finally come out here in the Fens.  Just a quick post as I think the boys have dinner ready!

I am entering this card into this weeks 'Die-Ing For A Challenge' which is a Brown and Blue theme.  The image is Molly Blooms which I have coloured with Copics and used Tim Holtz distress ink 'tea dye' around the image.  The background paper from stash.  The die cut frame is a Spellbinders 'Frameabilities' die which I mounted around the stamped image.  I cut a tag with my Cricut using Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cart, punched a strip of brown card using a Fiskars punch and attached a length of brown striped ribbon to the top edge.  A button was then attached to the tag completing the card.  Hope you like, enjoy the rest of the day, Linda x

Sunshine Yellow - Allsorts Challenge '3 in a row'

Good morning everyone and Happy Mother's Day!.  I had a beautiful bunch of pink tulips from my son who's still at home and also some toiletries - he said he was going to buy me some Olay products but it had for 'Aging Skin' on the box so he thought better of it - bless, he knows not to upset mother!  Anyway no cooking for me today, the boys are doing it - hope it's edible (lol).

My card today is for the 'Allsorts Challenge' 3 in a row.  The stamp is from a Woodware set which I've coloured with Copics.  The background is a digital paper and I've used a Martha Stewart punch around the page for the mat. I used Tim Holtz distress ink 'Antique Linen' around the edges although it's not that clear. I cut a frame using my Cricut which I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  The corners are cut with Memory Box dies which I have just bought (they are really beautiful dies - I'm already looking for more). The butterfly is cut with a Marianne die and I've detailed the body with crystals.  Three buttons at the base complete the card.

Hope you like,  Take care, Linda x
