Well 2 posts in 2 days! Just a short one today though! This card I made for our friends 60th Birthday. She's not a frills and lace person but I wanted something feminine just the same. I hope I've achieved that here!
The papers are from K&Co. I cut the background into strips and then matted and layered a rectangle. I stamped that with a swirly design from a clear stamp set and also the 60th using chalk eyes (Chestnut Roan). The leaves were cut with my cricut using one of my favourites 'Accent Essentials' which I scored and bent to give them depth. The flowers and button were from stash.

Chloe's Birthday Card
I'm really bad at this blogging business - haven't posted since Christmas Eve - tut tut! Anyway this card I made for my Granddaughters 7th birthday last week. Oh my how time flies, it doesn't seem 5 minutes ago that she was born. I coloured 'Tilda' with Copics which I discovered just before Christmas at a class at Sir Stampalot and I'm hooked - although I don't have many colours at the moment I will certainly be adding to them. Her dress I stamped with an Art Impressions tiny flowers stamp. I pleated paper for the left had side of the card which I haven't done before and quite like. 'Tilda' is mounted onto a doily (which I've had in my craft room for years and have only just started using, so never throw anything away!). The swirls were cut using Cricut Cartridge Accent Essentials, I used a MS punch for the bottom borders, some flowers and ribbon from stash and a few gems. Stamped happy birthday message and computer generated 7 today cut out with circle punch. Hope you like it!

Happy Christmas everyone!
Hi everyone and wishing you all have a very Happy Christmas. Sorry I've not posted anything for a while but I've been so busy with Christmas and everything. I was going to post something last weekend but we were one of the unfortunate ones to loose our electricity for 2 1/2 days. You don't appreciate how much you rely on it until you don't have it.
Anyway, here are a couple of boards I made as presents for my son and my sister. Hope you like them!

Charisma Cardz Challenge # 44 - Sketch
Good afternoon everyone - what a lovely sunny day it is in the Fens - much better than yesterday's rain, but that did give me the excuse to spend time doing a bit of crafting. My second posting is for this weeks Charisma Cardz Challenge. I used a white base card and Winter Wonderland papers from Dovecraft. The image is from Kars Ollyfant Clear Stamps which I stamped with Stazon (black) onto a white circle. The watercolouring was done with Marvy Le Plume pens. This was mounted onto a blue card cut with nesties scallops which I inked around the edge with a blue inkpad. I used a piece of ribbon from stash for the side border and 4 white snowflake eyelets for the base of the card. Stamped and cut out 3 tags for side of image and punched 3 snowflakes from glitter card which I mounted onto the card with foam pads. Hope you like it!

My Time To Craft Challenge
Hi all, this is the first entry on my blog so hope it's OK. Everyone tells me how great it is to share ideas and I've been following a few 'crafty blogs' recently so thought I'd give it a go myself. I've decided to enter this weeks 'My Time To Craft' Challenge 'So Many Scallops'. My entry is an engagement card made recently for friends of my youngest son. I used a plain white base card, digital download backing paper from 'Pink Petticoat' which I punched on one side with Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch. The image is Sarah Kay which I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black onto the scallop shape cut with my Cricut (Accent Essentials cart) and coloured with Marvy Le Plume pens - this I layered onto the larger blue scallop. I used a Fiskers heart border punch on the base card, computer generated text which I diecut using nestabilities. Charm and ribbon from stash.
