Cheers!

Hi everyone, a late one today/tomorrow - however you look at it.  At last the weather is improving and the forecasters are saying it will be up into the 20's next week - wow I can't wait!

The card I'm sharing with you today is a bi-fold card, the images (from La Pashe 'Flippin Men') are stamped with Memento and coloured with Copics.

The hinges were cut with my Cricut using Sure Cuts Alot and a SVG I found on the net.  I added 'Glossy Accents' to the beer droplets and the beer glasses.  The papers and card from stash.

I am entering it into 'Cards for Men' challenge -April Fools!

Hope you like!  Hugs, Linda x

Scallops

It's me again.  Today I'm sharing with you this card I made which I would like to enter into this weeks 'Less is More' challenge.  A very simple card to make - I've stamped onto patterned paper a scallop design border, cut it out and mounted it onto brown card.  I've cut circles and a scalloped circle using nestie dies which I then layered and mounted onto the card.  Hope you like. Have a nice day - Linda x

Poppy Tilda

Good morning everyone.  My god it's cold in the Fens this morning and sleeting a little - when will spring arrive?  Today I'm sharing with you a card I made using 'Poppy Tilda', I think she is so sweet.  I've coloured her with Copics and Prisma pencils which are my favourite colouring mediums at the moment.  I've used  nesties dies for the circles, a border stamp (can't remember the make) a Dawn Bibby stamp (little flowers) on the large circle and a stamped sentiment.  Papers and ribbon from stash.

I would like to enter it into this week's 'Bearly-Mine' challenge which is a sketch.  Hope you all have a nice day. Hugs, Linda x

Another Flower Fairy

Hello fellow bloggers, I'm back!  Just a quick post with a card I made for my charity box at work.

No stamping apart from the happy birthday sentiment .  The fairy is decoupage from a Flower Fairies CD and I've added a bit of Fairy Dust to her wings and dress with a sprinkling of glitter.  The frame I cut using Cricut carts George and basic shapes and Fabulous Finds (I think) . I then ran it through a cuttlebug embossing folder. The lattice was cut with a Spellbinders die.  The papers are Raspberry Road digi's.  I've used a memory box die for the fancy corner, a Tonic punch butterfly with a sprinkling of glitter. The flower and leaves are spellbinders bitty blooms and the book is cut from an old Sizzix die (glad I kept it now).

Hope you like - have a lovely day.  Hugs Linda xx

Fairies, Flowers & Butterflies

Hi Everyone, hope you've had a good day.  Rain again here this morning but brightened up a tad this afternoon.  Our poor bees have been cooped up in their hives for days.  Yesterday in the glorious sunshine they were very busy having a good old stretch of their wings and hopefully gathering some nectar - don't expect much of a honey crop this year.

Anyway, for today's post I have made a card using  LOTV stamps - I think she's so cute.  I've coloured her with Copics, I added some sparkle to her wings and pom poms. Tim Holtz Distress Ink antique linen (one of my favs) was used around the image.  The background papers are digital from Bearly Mine Designs, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, the leaves I punched with a L.Em punch,  ribbon - Making Memories which I've had for year's and found in my stash.  I punched out the butterfly with a punch I bought when I first started crafting, I love the shape.  I ran it through a cuttlebug embossing folder to give it some detail and added some bling.  The mats are Nestabilities, sentiment is LOTV and I added some bling.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Lili's Little Fairies (Sketch)
Anything Goes (Things with wings).
Oldie But A Goodie Challenge (Die Cuts & Punches)

Have a great evening.  Linda X

Birthday Bash

Hi everyone, it seems to be brightening up here - hooray!  I'd like to share with you a card I've made and would like to enter for this month's Sir Stampalot Challenge.  The image is a Hero Arts cling stamp which I've stamped onto yellow card and embossed.  I layered the image to give it a 3d effect and added a button to the centre of the flower.  I've used a Martha Stewart PATP punch to create a pretty mat.  The base card is the same as used for the stamping.  I've stamped the background with the Hero Arts stamp and embossed with detail clear.  I used distress inks over the embossing.  I cut a swirl with my Cricut and added the happy birthday greeting.  Hope you like.  Linda X

Sarah Kay Engagement Card

Afternoon everyone, I won't say good because the weather here is atrocious, but on the positive side it's good for blogging and crafting!  My share with you today is an engagement card I was asked to make for a work colleague.  The image is Sarah Kay which I stamped onto a mat cut with my Cricut and coloured with Copics.  The background papers are digital and the borders were created with a Martha Stuart punch. I used raffia lace underneath the mat and diecut corners using Memory Box dies to which I added a bit of bling.  The sentiment was computer generated and again the mat was cut with my Cricut.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've punch some leave. The butterfly from stash.  Hope you like!  Enjoy the rest of the day - Linda x
